ADPi cares! Alpha Delta Pi is very proud of having a large Philanthropic presence in the community. Alpha Delta Pi's national philanthropy is Ronald McDonald House, a charity that houses families of children in hospitals nationwide. These reduced-cost services allow the families to focus on their children's needs and stay near the hospital without worrying about long commutes or expensive hotel bills. As well as raising money for Ronald McDonald House and other charities, we also participate in numerous of philanthropic events hosted by the USC fraternities and many other organizations.
Ronald McDonald House
Our biggest philanthropy event of the year is Row Cup. The fine fraternity men of USC participate in our soccer tournament with the hopes of winning the grand prize. Congratulations to the men of Zeta Beta Tau who won a portable hot tub for receiving 1st place overall this year!
This year, for our Spring Alumnae Event, we participated in the Ronald McDonald 5k Walk for Kids, which was hosted across the street from USC in Exposition Park. Through this event, we raised over $4300 for Ronald McDonald House!
ADPinata
In the Fall, we host "ADPinata" in which we invite all of USC to our house for a delicious taco bar. Guests can either bring cans of food or money for entrance into the delicious taco buffet and all proceeds and donations are given to charity. This year, we collected over 300 cans to be donated!
Fraternity Philantropies
Beyond our own philanthropic events, ADPi's love participating in fraternity philanthropies! From relay races to soccer to lasso competitions, we've done it all while helping a great cause!
This year we're especially proud of winning Sigma Alpha Mu's Field Days Philanthropy!
USC Philanthropies
ADPi loves to help the community in any way possible, which is why we try to participate in as many philanthropies as possible. Whether it be a walk, a dance-a-thon, or a show, there's a good chance you'll see some Diamonds there!
One of our favorite philanthropies every year is Songfest, a show put on every year Spring by USC. Here we pair up with an awesome frat and choreograph a dance for our new members to dance to. USC sells tickets to the show and raises money for an amazing cause.
This year, ADPi is paired with the men of ATO and are currently getting ready to perform in this amazing event once again! The show is Friday, April 8th so if you're around L.A. come by Bovard at 7:30 to see us shine!
