Diamond Sisters
Each member of our chapter is paired with an older member who becomes their "Big Diamond Sister," prior to their initiation. The next year, that Little Sister will become a Big Sister, creating a "Diamond Family." At ADPi, we're very proud of how close the Diamond Sisters become and how much pride and love each member has for their "Diamond Family."
Every year, the new Big Sisters surprise their new Littles in a fun way. This year, our Bigs surprised us at a movie theatre at LA Live; we had no idea they were there!
Pride Wars
Each member of the chapter is placed in one of six Prides named after each of Alpha Delta Pi's founders. Throughout the semester, our members participate in a variety of events in which they can earn points for their Pride. The points are then tallied at the end of the semester and the winner of Pride Wars is declared!
One of our favorite Pride Wars is the Slip 'n' Slide event on our front lawn.
Bid Night
Our biggest event of the Fall semester is Bid Night! We were so excited to welcome our new Fall '10 Alpha class at Bid Night! We celebrated the night with music, dancing, a photo booth, a Euro Bounce and lots of yummy food!
